Our authentication pre-checks can only be done instore so you will be required to dispatch your garment to our store if you are not local or if you are able to visit the store then you can bring it in personally. You will only be requested to send your garment if you have already completed our pre-verification checks (see our Selling page for more information).
We will do a rigorous inspection of your garment to ensure that it is in pristine condition free of any damages, stains or odours.
We will do a closeup inspection of all the fabrics used to make the garment as well as check the quality of hand embroidery and embellishments. We will get a magnifying glass to closely inspect the quality of beads, stones, aari and zardozi work and embroidery. We will cross check against the designers visuals to ensure they not only follow the exact pattern and styling but that the work is of the highest quality in order to mitigate the garment from being a first class replica. As experience luxury wear sellers we can easily spot the minutest differences between a genuine and authentic piece and a copy.
We will do a closeup inspection of the garment inner label to ensure its original.
We undertake a stitching stress test to ensure that the garment is in good condition with professional stitching throughout. If there are minor stitching that has come apart then we can have them repaired in-house at an additional cost.
