The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale together with the documents referred to below, including the Privacy Policy and General Terms and Conditions of Use) govern the offer and buying and selling of products on our website, “preowned.chambeili.com”. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The preowned items on preowned.chambeili.com are managed directly by its parent company chambeili® which has its registered office in United Kingdom at 149 Bradford Road, Shipley, West Yorkshire.

1. Our Business Policy
1.1 chambeili® offers pre-owned products for sale on preowned.chambeili.com and its e-commerce business services are available exclusively to its end users, i.e. the “Consumers”.
1.2 “Consumer” shall mean any individual who is acting for purposes which are outside his or her trade, business or profession.
1.3 preowned.chambeili.com reserves the right not to process orders received from users who are not “Consumers” and any other order which does not comply with chambeili® business policy.
1.4 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (together with the documents referred to herein) regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products on preowned.chambeili.com between the users of preowned.chambeili.com and chambeili® Ltd.
1.5 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale do not regulate the supply of services or the sale of products performed by third parties that are on preowned.chambeili.com through advertisement banners. Under no circumstances shall chambeili® be deemed liable for the supply of services provided by third parties or for the execution of e-commerce transactions between users of preowned.chambeili.com and third parties.
2. How to Execute a Contract with chambeili® Pre-owned
2.1 To place an order for the purchase of one or more products on preowned.chambeili.com, you simply add each item to your shopping cart by select “ADD TO CART” button.
2.2 On the checkout page you will see the link to our Terms & Conditions which you will need to acknowledge by selecting the check option. Your order basket will contain product names and product price (including all applicable fees, taxes and shipping fees).
2.3 Before completing your online order for the purchase of pre-owned products, you will be asked to carefully read the Terms & Conditions.
2.4 An order shall be deemed submitted when chambeili® receives your payment in full including shipping fees and acknowledgement of our Terms & Conditions.
2.5 After your order form has been submitted, chambeili® will process your order by packing your items with a hardcopy packing slip and invoice.
2.5 The order details for your pre-owned items will be added to your My Account (registered users) where you can access. You will also be sent a copy of your order details by email.
2.6 By submitting a pre-owned online order to chambeili®, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and our Terms & Conditions in your contract with chambeili®. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and pre-owned Terms & Conditions, please do not place an order with pre-owned.chambeili.com.
2.7 By placing a pre-owned online order you agree and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as further conditions contained on preowned.chambeili.com, through links, including the General Terms and Conditions of Use, Terms & Conditions and Cookies & Privacy Policy.
Selling Process
Contact chambeili Pre-owned by email at: preowned@chambeili.com with details of your item, purchase price, size (measurements if bespoke), condition, designer, date and original cost of outfit. You will have to state if the outfit is new/worn/with/without tags.
Please provide a realistic asking price bearing in mind that your garment is pre-owned and a final reserve price if we cannot sell at your required asking price. We will make recommendations on pricing if your garment is approved to ensure that our client base is willing to pay the price.
Provide a brief description of your outfit including fabric used, embroidery and embellishment details, style of the garment and occasion, whether it is a bespoke item or part of a collection from the designer then provide the collection name and product name.
Need to see minimum of 3 photos of the dress, clearly showing full outfit including: dupatta, gharara/shahrara, lengha, choli or saree with blouse and inner. For Premium option we will take closeup pictures of your garment with video as well to provide more closeup details to entice customers.
We will review the description, pictures and price of every item before we accept to sell your outfit in store and online. We will require proof of purchase or original purchase order details from the designer. If you ordered your dress online, we will accept the email confirmation of your order from the designer. We will take into account the style/price/market demand/quality and condition of your item.
This step may take up to 48 hours. We will notify you if your item has been approved or rejected.
Ensure the outfit has been professionally dry cleaned and is free from all odours, damages or stains.
If your outfit has been approved by chambeili Pre-owned team, we will contact you to ask you pay the listing fee via PayPal and sign and send the Sellers Pre-owned Terms and Conditions form.
Send or arrange to bring your outfit to our store address via special delivery with insurance or drop off. For international customers you can dispatch via FedEX or DHL.
After the outfit has been prepared and displayed in store it will be labelled clearly as Pre-owned, Vintage and Never Worn.
We will send you regular updates on the progress of your garment every 2 weeks. We will let you know how much interest we have received and any feedback or comments.
We will contact you if we receive an offer on your garment. We will only sell it once if the customer agrees to the selling price or final reserve price.
We will keep your garment on the racks in store for maximum 3-4 months and if it is not sold within the time frame we will request you collect it in-store or have it shipped back to your address where you will need to pay for the shipping. We will however keep the garment online just in case someone does wish to buy it. Alternatively, we will give you an option to place your garment into our Auction room and let customers place bids whereby you can reduce the asking price lower to improve the chances of selling your garment.
Charges & Commissions
Once your garment has been verified as an original and has met our selling guidelines, the customer will be required to have the item(s) professionally dry cleaned and provide high quality images and a brief on your garment, the designer and any information on the customisation and features, date of purchase, purchase price and UK size (if bespoke then you will need to provide exact measurements when you placed the order).
In order for you to sell your item using the standard and premium service, the charges and commission will be as follows:
Listing & Racking Charges
In order for you to sell your item using the standard and premium service, you will be required to pay an upfront charge. We have listed what we will offer per service below**.
**The above charges do not include any cost of repair to your outfit. If you would like chambeili Pre-owned team to fix any repairs, you will be required to contact us by email: preowned@chambeili.com and clearly state what repairs you require with a clear photo of the fault or repair. We will email you with the cost of repair. We will charge upfront for this service.

Commission
We will charge commission when your outfit has been sold. Our commission will be calculated according to the price of your item and will represent 20% – 25% of the selling price maximum. If your item selling price exceeds £6500 then we will charge a flat fee of £1300.00. We will deduct commission upon sale of your item.

Auction
We will hold an instore and online auction for any listed item that has not sold in 4 months. Customers will be notified in advance of they wish to have their garments placed into auction and a reserve price will be finalised before the auction day proceeds.
Cancellation
If you have a change of heart and want to cancel the sale, please contact our sales team by email at preowned@chambeili.com. We will remove the item from the shop floor and online listing with immediate effect.
You will be required to collect the item from store within 14 days of cancellation or pay for shipping the item back to your home address by FedEX, DHL or Royal Mail Signed for Special Delivery. We do not charge a cancellation fee; however the listing and racking fee for either services are non-refundable without exception.

Therefore, once you sell your pre-owned garment on our platform we will be able to push for sales using our existing following base and hopefully sell more quickly. The alternative is you can sell your garment on Ebay or Gumtree but you will get ridiculous offers as most customers who buy from these platforms are looking for cheap bargains.
